Today we highlight one of Sweet & Paciorek, LLC's founding staff members, Gabriela Pedroza Sanchez. As a DACA recipient and PA resident, Gabriela was recently interviewed by NPR in a piece regarding the PA voices that won't be heard in this upcoming election. We encourage all eligible United States citizens to VOTE on November 3, 2020. Your vote matters to many of your neighbors more than you will ever realize. Let your voice be heard for those who live in our community but are unable to vote. #GOTV2020 #voteforthosewhocannot

Please join us in welcoming the newest addition to the Sweet & Paciorek, LLC team: Jennifer P. Haines, Esq., Associate Attorney.
Jennifer Haines, who joined the firm in 2020, was born in Philadelphia, PA, and first became interested in the phenomenon of human migration during her junior year abroad in Malaga, Spain, when she taught Spanish & English to individuals arriving in Europe from Northern Africa. To date, she has continued to work with immigrant communities from around the globe. Before graduating from Dickinson College in 2009, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish & International Studies, Jennifer taught migrant workers in Adams County English, in her capacity as the co-coordinator for the college’s English as a Second Language ("ESL") program. After graduating from college, Jennifer worked as a paralegal in immigration law, and then went on to pursue a law degree at Rutgers University, where she participated in the immigration law clinic before earning her J.D. degree in 2015.
Since graduating from law school and admission to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars, Jennifer has practiced exclusively in the area of immigration & nationality law. She comes to Sweet & Paciorek with extensive experience in immigration law, running the gamut from employment based matters, such as nonimmigrant visas in the H-1B, E-3, TN, L-1A and R-1 categories, as well as immigrant visas in the EB-1, EB-2 and EB-3 categories, to removal defense, humanitarian & family based matters, including asylum & 42B applications, 601A waivers, DACA, K-1 fiancé visas, and I-130 & I-751 petitions. Using this extensive range of experience, Jennifer can competently and seamlessly guide individuals through the processes of gaining a lawful status in the United States, whatever their reason for coming to the United States may be. Additionally, Jennifer is also an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (“AILA”). Currently, she chairs the Philadelphia AILA Chapter’s National Day of Action Sub-Committee.
